The Raid
The Raid are 5 piece Indie Punk, Rock + Roll band from Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. People sometimes compare us to bands such as The Who + Led Zeppelin, as well as current bands like Jet + The Stereophonics. We have been together for over 2 years and plan to be together for many more. The Raid's songs are created by all five members bringing fresh and exciting ideas to every new project. These songs hold meaning for anyone listening as they have sprung from real life experiences the band have had. The Raid practice 3 times a week in a local barn that's been converted into rehearsal rooms.
Originally The Raid started off as 4; Adam Robinson on vocals, Paul Taylor on lead, Sam Street on bass, and Tom Chambers on drums; who were all friends through school. Andy Maguire , the old man of the band, (rhythm guitar) also went to the same school but was 4 years above. He joined after bumping into the others at gigs in London . It soon became apparent that they had a similar taste in music, and it wasn't long till Andy was asked to join the band.
Rhythmic drums, huge guitar riffs, powerful vocal and a raw energy make up the band's first E.P, containing Show Me, Pretty Little Things, and You, Me and Her.
After a string of successful local gigs the boys have began to break into the London scene after recently playing at Storm + Sound in Leicester Square and Lark in The Park in Islington. Another exciting experience for the band was a recent gig at Northampton University , which went down really well. A gig with The Raid is a guaranteed night to remember, it has been said the no-one leaves disappointed'

I really don't know your music but I heard it recently and loved it... are you doing any more gigs soon? I hope you have a good PR company as you have a great future if they get it right...
