The Geoff's
The Geoff?s are a multi-stylistic bunch of lads that bring many genres and smash them into one to create a catchy sound that people of all music tastes can enjoy combining Indie / Ambient / Alternive / proggressive / Rock and metal solos. Originating from a dodgy town in Manchester Astley/Leigh they have played many venues in the short year they have been together as the former name Halesis (changed because people cant say it when read and also on live radio when a presenter was trying to say it, he said ?halitosis, you don?t want that?) playing places such as Manchester Academy, Headlining the Roadhouse the Late Rooms. The Geoff?s prize themselves on there live shows as the band insist on crowd participation. With the new name The Geoff?s and new recently recorded Demo they are hoping to push forward this year and move up from the underground. The members of the band are lead singer/keyboard/acoustic guitar jumping around front man Rob Lally, Jumping around lead guitarist ?Magic Milton?, rhythm guitar/backing vocals also very lazy Steven Fish (who lives on Trouteck Drive next to someone called Gilly, no joke), bass player Chris Walton (ginger Jaffrow), Grove the jumpy about drummer and finally the Extra?s Mr Wilson the trumpet guy and Cait the backing singer. Influences include Coldplay, Oasis, Incubus, The Smiths, Queen, Deftones, Jeff buckley, Pink floyd, thin lizzy Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Jimi Hendrix, Spice Girls and many others that are great.
