The Genes are Ian Shoreman - Guitars and Vocals, Jay Hartley - Lead Guitar, Danny Hayes - Drums and Percussion and Paul Higson - Bass Guitar.
The Genes hail from Bolton and Manchester "BOLCHESTER" - Clint Boon Xfm.
The Genes formed in November 2006 and have a list of great support slots and shows under their belt. Supporting the likes of The Enemy, Boy Kill Boy, The Futureheads and The Babyshambles in such a short period of time.
The Genes Manager David Kay has a company called Red Brick Productions which is a great service. Davids company film bands all over the country and has filmed the likes of The Levellers, The Proclaimers, The Fratellis, The Enemy, Babyshambles, Nick Harper, 65 Days of static and The Twang.
