Silvercloud

Incoprorating singer/songwriter lyricism with powerful rock hooks, Silvercloud's songs are about life's ups and downs. Through themes of love, heartbreak, regret, and escape, the band takes the listener through an unforgettable emotional journey. Blending the precise, dynamic drumming of April Samuels with the melodic, rhythmic bass of Jeff Wallace, the lyrical, inventiveness of Phil Berger's guitar playing and the strong, rhythmic playing and rich vocals of Daniel Crisler. Silvercloud's music is diverse, creative, and a live dynamo. hearing the band on cd pales in comparison to what the band is like live. Combining all the elements of their varying influences Silvercloud makes every live show an experience...one show you may hear them perform a rendition of Stairway to Heaven with an extended jam during the solo section which often leads to All Along the Watchtower, or Jessie's Beautiful Day, a mash-up the band worked out of Jessie's Girl by Rick Springfield and Beautiful Day by U2, or Pinball Kryptonite a combination of The Who's iconic Pinball Wizard and Three Doors Down's Kryptonite. Drawing from a wide range of influences from the standard rock influences of The Beatles, The Who, The Police, RUSH, Billy Joel and Led Zeppelin to the more modern Vertical Horizon, Porcupine Tree, Shinedown, Muse, Daughtry and Our Lady Peace with some of the Jam type band live aesthetics of The Dave Matthews Band, Phish and Umphrey's McGee. String Arrangements samples, acoustic rhythmic interplay all add to the mix. Silvercloud offers several variations on how the band can be presented as well...Solo Acoustic, a duo gig consisting of Daniel and Phil, a "stripped show" consisting of the whole band just played on a more low key level(this show actually has taken place with/or without bass) and the full band.

Silvercloud has just finished recording an EP produced by Sam Taylor(ZZ Top, King's X, Galactic Cowboys and many more) at Palmyra Studios in Palmer, TX as we are waiting for the mixing and mastering to be completed we are releasing several live tracks from a show at the Skillman Street Pub in Dallas, TX on May 8, 2010 Recorded direct from the soundboard so sound quality is a little strange clear but all the effects off the soundboard.

As soon as we have the recording back from Mr. Taylor they will be posted here
