SIlver Wolf Band
The Silver Wolf Band is rock & roll with a jazzy piano edge, folk rock sensibilities, texture, depth and energy. The band is a new collaboration of musicians from both Goose Bay Labrador and Charlottetown Prince Edward Island. This joining together of artists happened when the decision was made to record a demo at Lukas Raine Recordings in Charlottetown Prince Edward Island in the summer of 2009. They acquired local musician Dan Clarke to fill the role of bassist for the recording and later guitarist Evan Ceretti to complete the live performance version of the band. Now the Silver Wolf Band is based in Charlottetown polishing their sound, seeking gigs and preparing for the release of their first demo recording. The four song demo features the upbeat power-chord driven "Violets & Roses" along with the hauntingly nostalgic, end-of-the-evening piano melodies of "Good Night in the City". This specific selection of numbers demonstrates the character and dynamic one can expect of this rare musical occurrence. The Silver Wolf Band has gained an impressive following of fans in Labrador (who they often refer to simply as "wolves") with their energetic performances and songs that stick with you the first time you lay ears upon them. The Silver Wolf Band looks forward to delivering the same performance to the Maritimes from their new home in Charlottetown Prince Edward Island.
