Reginald

The story began in the small village of Clarencefield in June 2004. When the young creative minds of Andrew Stephenson, Peter Tinning, Barry Gibson and Daniel Wynne joined forces to form the soon to be legendary REGINALD. The band only really began gigging in Spring 2005 still playing pop-punk songs. However in November 2005, the guitars were downtuned and the sound was completely rethought. Going from the Blink and Green Day influences of the past to the Biffy Clyro and Fall Of Troy influences of now. The band released their first CD entitled Men Of The Lavender Persuasion in February 2006 and sold out all the copies. Reginald have rocked out on stages in Glasgow, Carlisle, Dumfries and Annan along side such bands as DAYS OF WORTH, MT. and TAUNTRA. The band are very hard to categorise with everything from "Emo-Poppers" to " Prog mentalists" being thrown at them. The bands sound has often been likened to Biffy Clyro, Fall Of Troy, Sucioperro, At The Drive-In, Reuben and Forward, Russia!, amongst many others, with some spazzy feet and out of the ordinary lyrics thrown in. The band have a very complex sound for their young age with an average of just 16 and have an explosive live show with some crazy moves thrown in. Reginald will be releasing their second CD, a five track affair in October 2006.
