Octane Ok are Powerpop rock band from Birmingham, West Midlands, formed in 2007. The band consists of lead vocalist Paul Tandy, guitarist. Mikey Rainsford ,bassist. Matthew Harper, and drummer Tom Weston.
The band's musical approach produces songs with an instantaneous melodic punch, which are indebted to their many and wide-ranging influences. Exemplified by the multiple harmonies, razor sharp guitar riffs, pounding bass lines and thumping drum beats, crowds are left in no doubt of the power and passion this band can produce.
It has been confirmed that their self-entitled new album, still a work in progress, will be released in the late spring of 2009
