JahRootSalem hails from a little beach town tucked away on the Southern California Coast called, San Clemente. The three band members, Cory Christiansen(Guitar, Vocals), Adam Gerhard(Bass) and Scooter Nemet(Bongos, Vocals) have been best friends since childhood. Their love for Reggae and playing music together has formed a band that will play anywhere and any time. Their sound is a cross between Peter Tosh and Jacob Miller. Their songs speak of religion, politics, faith, weed and God. This band is heavy into the Bible seeking knowledge and wisdom.
