Cutch Tuttle and Hound Dog Hill

Hound Dog Hill is a six piece neo-traditional string band from the beautiful Shenandoah Valley in Virginia. Founded in 2003 by a young banjo player and singer named Cutch Tuttle, these boys make music the old time way, using all acoustic instruments and drawing influence from the Valley's rich musical heritage. In the years they have been playing together, Hound Dog Hill has evolved into a high energy string band that plays the kind of music rarely heard today. They have been featured on several radio and tv stations across the valley, including WHSV TV 3, WVLS Appalachian Radio, WXJM 88.1, & WTJU 91.1.
