Blood Sweat and Beers
Ragweek 69, voted 'World's Most Amazing Band' by the Sun, The Times and The Independent on Sunday and awarded the Nobel Peace Prize of 2007, were forged by pure genius and musical understanding. After The Artist Formerly Known As Goz and Sam were kicked out of Luthera, they thought 'Hmm, now how are we going to form the most amazing band ever?'. They soon realised that forming their own band and giving it a crude name was the way forward. And so with Sam on Guitar and Goz on Bass and Vocals, Ragweek 69 was formed
It soon became clear that the sound of a bass and rythym guitar would be shite, so Ragweek hired Andy as drummer and Gorgeous George on lead guitar. Now, in the words of Big Smoke from San Andreas, 'shits gettin' real dawg'.
Except it really wasn't, because Goz could not remember lyrics for shit. 'So', said the all knowing and all seeing Goz, 'we need a fucking singer'. At this precise moment JUSTICE REVERB flew in through the window having just saved a woman from a burning building. He turned up, he sang and he remembered more words than Billy did. JUSTICE REVERB, by day he is an average college student named Ell Stone, by night he is the most musically talented superhero ever. 'SO' said JUSTICE REVERB, who constantly spoke in capitals and rested his hands on his hips in a triumphant manly sorta way, 'WE SHOULD DO BREAKING THE LAW'.
Gorgeous George and Andy have now left, Sam and Goz have changed their names to Jibber McDougal and Billy Sexcrime and the band has been renamed Blood, Sweat And Beers. Emi joined recently on drums and is awaiting her stage name. We've ordered it from the States, but it's not due to arrive in the post until next Thursday. For now I'm going to go with Fanny Batter.
Justice Reverb left the band to further his career as a Superhero, and the band now intend to begin writing their own songs.
Johnny Frontbottom joined in March 2009 out of pity. The band are now beginning to (slowly) function and have recorded the song 'Everyone Loves Crackling'
ENJOY!
