Rate My Band was set up in 2002 as free resource for musicians and bands - helping musicians and bands get their music heard.

From the outset I knew I wanted to create a free resource for musicians and unsigned bands to help them get their music heard. Having seen other "rate my" sites I wanted something along a similar line - something fun and easy to use.

Musicians upload their music for free (along with a link to their website, a photo/logo and description) - browsers of the site then rate the music

Musicians and bands get feedback on their material - browsers can vote and also contact the songwriters direct (if they have enabled this option)

It's free for any musician - unsigned, signed, professional, amateur - all are welcome

For visitors to the site it's a great way to hear music from around the world - they can listen to great music for free.
